A tank-cleaning proposal must account for the surface to be treated and the environment in which the equipment will operate.
BKR assesses shell surfaces, localised corrosion and unwanted surface layers, with the cleaning outcome agreed through a representative trial. Existing coatings, seals and sensitive features are considered when defining treatment boundaries.

A representative trial. An agreed scope.
Drawings, dimensions, surface photographs, previous tank contents and the work window inform the assessment. We coordinate the proposed equipment, extraction, ventilation, access method and party responsibilities before execution. The site-specific arrangements remain subject to the asset owner’s review and applicable work controls.
Practical questions.
Is laser cleaning suitable for every tank?
Suitability depends on the material, surface layer, geometry, tank history and site conditions. An assessment and representative trial establish the proposed scope.
Does the process need extraction?
Laser cleaning can generate airborne particles and fumes. Extraction, ventilation and exposure controls are planned for the material removed and the work environment.
Can you quote a guaranteed cleaning rate from photographs?
Photographs support an initial assessment. A production basis requires a defined scope and preferably a representative trial.
What information should we send?
Tank dimensions, surface photographs, previous contents, the required finish, access details and your intended work window.
